I’ve been a wedding entrepreneur since 2011 and in that time I’ve learned what it takes to build an industry leading brand. From taking my wedding blog B.LOVED and growing it into an award-winning publication to getting my styling and design work published in leading bridal titles around the world, I now bring industry expertise and an eye for design to creative consultancy for wedding businesses.
BUT NOT SO LONG AGO I WAS STRUGGLING LIKE YOU.
Newly divorced and practically homeless, I was pouring my heart and soul into my business, and it wasn’t providing the lifestyle I deserved and was working so damn hard for.
The thought of returning to my corporate past was motivation enough to take a leap of faith. I realised I could help other wedding entrepreneurs using the skills, knowledge, connections, and experience I had gained over the years. I figured out who my ideal clients were and created a brand that spoke to them.
NOW, THINGS LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT.
I live in London with my partner and two bonus-daughters, and the girls make me want to show them what it means to be a successful female entrepreneur – which includes making work/life balance a top priority.
As the founder of wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive, founding member of global wedding inspiration website Aisle Society, and co-founder at The Brand Studio I’m so lucky that I get to travel all over the UK and beyond for shoots, events, and workshops. And while I’m proud to have built successful brands around the work I love, nothing beats the fact that they enable me to be around for family time whenever I want.
